Didn't they agree to start doing new ads with him last year? Plus I saw him say he was gonna have a commercial on Christmas but I didn't see one.

He did have a Nike commercial during the playoffs or the ending of last season. It was the one where he was working out in the gym and weight room. But you're right they don't show enough Nike commercials of Kobe. Well, as much as we'd like to see. Hopefully they make more commericals that include Kobe.

Well contrary to the last two comments, who obviously know absolutely know NOTHING about Kobe. First of all, Steve Nash is not Kobe, remember who has 3 rings, yes Shaq was a huge part of that but if you read Phil Jackson's book and other books about the Lakers, Kobe facilitated that championship offense, like a point guard. To the others that say he is not marketable, in a sense you are right at the time but it is not because he is too into himself. If anyone would LISTEN to Kobe he admits to being a better man and a better teammate, who is now making his teammates better if you watch the games. The reason I would say his commercials are lacking is because it's hard to market him right now. He is currently in the remodeling phase of his image BUT strangely enough, the fact that he doesn't receive much marketing, yet Nike is still making and selling his shoes, shows how powerful Kobe is, he still sells, not like he used to but still towards the top. The best way to market Kobe right now is as "Mr. 81" For the haters, do your research before you hate!

I'm going to have to agree with the last answer Kobe is very involved with himself its a turn off. You cant relate to a person with no humility , its sad because he wasn't all ways Mr NBA and if maybe he remembered that and came back down to earth a little he would realize nobody likes him and from what i hear wants to work with him either.

He isn't very marketable. He isn't particularly interesting (like Iverson or Garnett) and doesn't ever appear to be having much fun (like LeBron and Wade). It's hard to get people to buy something when they see a guy takes himself a little too seriously and who isn't really liked by that many people endorsing the product.
