It is showing in the U.K. Sometimes they will air the shows a few weeks before it actually airs in the U.S. 24 will start on 14 JAN with a 2 night season premier.

Jack is in chinese prison and his realease is negotiated by the president. Various terrorist attacks have been occuring throughout major cities in the USA and a man name fayeed (?) claims to know the man responsible. fayeed tells the president he will tell him where this man is if he gives him Jack. Jack killed fayeeds brother and now wants retribution. He says he knows how jack killed his brother and he will torture him the same way. Jack gets away and has found out that fayeed is the one actually responsible for the attacks not the other man. Fayeed is planning to set off a number of nukes. Jack and the man who Fayeed named as the terrorist work together to try and stop fayeed
