Wooden Voodoo Doll

Well, you likely have a poppet, since they are really only voodoo dolls if they are being used for voodoo by a voodoun. They are not any more harmful/evil than a magic wand or something. If you believe in magic, then you understand that intention is everything. If you don't believe in magic, it's just a couple of dolls. Now if it were goofer dust then we'd have to talk (just kidding, I'm actually an atheist and don't believe magic is real.)

Yes this particular object is capable of mischief if prepared properly and if the recipient receives the object willingly and without payment.
...I hope you did not receive one as a gift.
If you have purchased one then you are usually safe as it has not been prepared yet.

I suggest you sell the item, do not give it away, do not destroy it!

Yes they are. There are plenty of books on this particular subject, and one would be wise to read a few for themselves.

In my opinion any VOODOO doll would be evil because it is created to invoke something onto someone else almost a spell, so I personally would steer clear of it.
