A DNA is a molecule consisted of sugar covalently bonded to a phosphate group. They are stored inside the cell nucleus of our body. It basically is what comprises our genetic makeup, in another words, is our "blueprint" for how each cell constructed and governed.

Collectively they from a twisted spiral called a double helix. When forming the double helix, the bases in the opposite strands are arranged such that where there is an adenine in one strand, the other strand has a thymine and where there is a guanine in one strand, the other strand has a cytosine.

*Note that for prokaryotes such as bacteria, the DNA is in the cell's cytoplasm.

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions for the biological development of a cellular form of life or a virus. All known cellular life and some viruses have DNAs. DNA is a long polymer of nucleotides (a polynucleotide) that encodes the sequence of amino acid residues in proteins, using the genetic code.

DNA is found in the nucleus of almost (mature Red Blood Cells don't contain DNA) all the cells in the body. It is found in almost every cell so that it can direct its activities such as production of proteins, energy, and the reproduction of cells.

DNA is possibly the smallest thing you'll find in your body. Basically, you have a body which is made up of body cells right? Now, inside the cell's centre (nucleus), you will find chromosomes. Chromosomes are little things that are (paired up) and are made up of genes (from your parents, grandparents...etc, making up what you look like). Inside the genes, you find millions and millions of strands of genetic code - called DNA. DNA is basically the building block of all living things. It determines what you look like, how tall you'll be, the color of your eyes... etc. It's the most important thing in your body (in relation to genetics) and looks like a rope ladder, when you twist it.

Now, the DNA is also made of parts too, but maybe all this will be too much information?

DNA is the molecule where all your (and all living organisms') genetic material is found. The term stands for Deoxyribonucleic Acid, and basically it codes for all the different proteins that are esstential for the processes that keep you body and brain alive and functioning and the traits you express. DNA is found in the nucleus of every cell in your body.

DNA is the blueprint which tells your cells how to build new proteins (and of those proteins, everything in your body is made). It bears your genetic information, e. g. if it tells your eye cells to produce blue color particles, you have blue eyes.
It is found in your chromosomes. Those are X- or Y-shaped particles in the cell nucleus. You find them in every cell in the human body which has a nucleus (almost all types of cells have one, the most notable exception being a red blood cell), 46 chromosomes per cell. The chromosomes set in every cell of your body is identicall to the set in every other cell in your body, and different from the chromosomes set of every other person except for your identical twin if you have one.

DNA is a protein sequence which contain's the "blueprints" of one's traits. It is twisted into a double helix shape (a twisted ladder) and is found in an individuals chromosomes which is found in the nucleus of a cell.

DNA = deoxyribunuclease.

in short, DNA holds all the information(genetic info) that u have n DNA is the main thing that determines who u r... ur natural hair color,skin color n so on.
no one has the same DNA including identitical twins. Its something like ur fingerprint..evry1 has a unique code.

for ur 2nd ques, DNA is found everywhr in our body... coz of our cells carry them in their nucleas. ok?

hope u get idea wht is DNA now.. :)

DNA is your genetic makeup that you inherit from your parents and grandparents. It is specifically found in every cell and fiber of our bodies.

i think the answer he's looking for is the nucleus.

sure its found everywhere in our body, but if you had to pick a specific place....... the nucleus
