The madden series is EA's biggest game series, just because usa has a lot of football fanatics, so yeah, Madden 07 is EA's biggest franchise.

Madden! I typically hate sports games. I love to play sports, so the sports games seem pointless because they are an entirely different physical exertion all together. Yet, Madden is a game for fans of football. Even though no controller exercise will ever duplicate the thrill of actually playing football, Madden provides other things, and goes in depth into football.

Well in my opinion it differs from one person to another according to his/her interest. For me, as a person who likes basketball and football and hockey and nascar, i will choose the NBA 2007, it's excellent game with a lot of details and the best songs ive ever heard in a pc game (after NFS carbon).
