To be honest, I don't think you really can. You say the car is red. How would you describe red? All I can think of is, "Red is red." Since they haven't experienced color, they wouldn't understand, since you have to see it to get it.

Think outside the box. Put his/her hand in snow. Have them feel a wedding dress or a baby's skin.
Want to know something cool? You can "show" a blind person a picture. Just trace over the picture with aluminum foil, and they can feel the picture!

tell them that are hues are photos of expressed theory working example pink could be for anger pink could be for shyness etc.. tell them that there hues are only like the sunlight and the moon some are bright happy and pleased , mutually as others are only like the moon darkish and chilly yet each color comes with its very own emotion ... :)

how do you know they see darkness? maybe they see white already..then you have the task of explaining black..and every otehr color..how would you explain green? you can say the grass is green..but they've never seen grass..so why waste your time?
