2.Beth Roberts and her construction crew are adding a recreation room to a house. They have used a tape measure to determine if two walls are at right angles to each other. Their measurements of the sides of the triangle in the corner between the two walls are 10 in., 10 in., and 13.4 in. Do the walls meet at a right angle? Explain your answer.

3. Write a trinomial that represents the area of the rectangle. The rectangle cannot be typed so here is how the rectangle looks like: the Height if the Rectangle is 2√7 and the width(wide) is 5√7

4. What is the smallest integer of x that will give positive values for the length and the width of the rectangle? the Height if the Rectangle is 2√7 and the width(wide) is 5√7

Whenever you try to find the fraction of .9999bar, it always comes out as one. .33bar+.33bar+.33bar should be .99bar, right? Let's convert it into fractions (1/3)+(1/3)+(1/3)=1.

Also, when trying to find a repeating number just take the amount of digits repeating and divide by as many nines as the digits. Ex:

.11bar...What's the fraction? Well, 1/9=.11bar

.1324bar...What's the fraction? Well, 1324/9999=.1324bar

.99bar...What's the fraction? Well, 99/99=1, not .99 bar.

I hope that this helps.

1. 7.9 with - is equal to 8.0. The fraction would be 8/1, unusual because only a publik skoolmarm would write 8 as 8/1.

2. Not a right angle. A right triangle with sides 10 in. and 10 in. would have an hypotenuse of 14.1 in.

3. The area of a rectangle? It's the height times the width:
2√7 * 5√7 = 10 * 7 = 70

You want a trinomial? How about 30x^2 + 30x + 10 where x = 1.

4. 1. With smallest integer 1, the Height if the Rectangle is 2√7 and the width(wide) is 5√7

2. If it would be a right angle, then Pythagoras would apply, meaning that the squares of the 2 smaller sides would equal the square of the longest side.
which in this case would be
10*10 +10*10=13.4*13.4
100+100=179.56
which is incorrect
so therefore it cannot be a right angled triangle

1.7.9999999...........................
.........becomes=8

2.10^2+10^2=200
sq.rt. of 200=14.14
so the walls are not at right angles

3.Area of the rectangle=5rt7*2rt7=70 sq.units
what do you mean by writing a trinomial to represent the area?

4.what do you mean?
