See your GYN Immediately!!! This could be just a plain cyst but can also we the indication of bigger problems such as dysplasia or adhesions (hormone induced scar tissue). The only way to know for sure will be to see a doctor. I had the same problem about a year after my daughter was born and it was luckily just plain benign scar tissue that was Cyro'd (frozen) off right there in my doctor's office but my doc was very concerned and even though the tissue looked OK to him he still sent it for Biopsy. Good Luck

It might very well be a cyst. I had one in my outer labia years ago. I was only 18 and it began as a swelling and it became very painful. I would highly suggest going to your doctor because if it is something like this it will not go away on its own. Don't be scared...they will help you. If it is a cyst they will most likely prescribe antibiotics first to see if it helps. If not other steps will be taken. With mine the pills didn't work so the doctor made a small cut in the outer labia (they numbed me first) and drained it. Unfortunatly it came back so I had to have a surgery but I felt sooo much better afterwards. The pain was completely gone. Until you can see the doctor try sitting in warm water. But please don't make the mistake of not seeing the doctor. It could grow larger and become more painful. Good luck!

No, it is not one of your reproductive organs. It sounds as if you have a typed of cyst. Try sitting in a very warm bath and see if that helps ease the pain. You can also try taking a non steriodal anti inflammatory med provided you are not on blood thinners, have high blood pressure, diabetes, or any type of blood disease. Motrin, Advil or Aleve would be a good choice. It is does not reduce in size within a few days, you might as well make a doctor's appt. and the doctor will probably lance and drain it.

If you have a ball or mass inside your vagina it's not a normal thing to have, I don't think. If you are in pain, and it's swollen or hard, then you might need to see your doctor soon, and get a pap exam and make sure it's not cancerous/ tumor. Good Luck hun. Get well soon.

If you have to ask, you need to see the doctor...I think the "painful" part is a clue.
