i think you are a very loving and honorable person with a big heart. God bless you and it is perfectly okay to name a child after a child who didn't have a chance.

Would you have to mention it's due to the aborted baby??? If you read the Bible, Malachi is a book in it. Try reading it and then decide. Quite a few people will tie it to the Bible and not a prolife truck 'ad'. GOod luck.

I find that story (thanks to the person who posted the link) EXTREMELY hard to believe.
What's an "abortion mill"?
Why on earth would it be storing fetuses?
Frozen in a jar? Use your head for a second. When you put something in the freezer, do you put it in there in a glass jar? Thought so.
How on earth would somebody put a fetus "back together"?
The only thing I can think of is that it was an interesting example of a genetic defect that might've warranted further study.
It's not credible at all as written.
That's not really something I'd want to be named after, either way. It's also not a great name for a kid in North America

I think it is a wonderful idea. I have always been affected by abortion. When I was 17 my best friend told me she was getting an abortion. I begged her to carry the baby to term. I told her I would take care of it. She did wind up with the abortion and to this day I celebrate losing that child as if it was my own.
