It's very commendable that you are choosing to stay home with your daughter, not easy to do but very rewarding...I would not have had it any other way myself.

As for income earning from home, consider the skills you already have...perhaps you can freelance. By checking out places like guru.com, workopolis.com, monster.com, or doing a search for work at home, freelance jobs, etc., you might find something that clicks for you and that you are interested in.

Stay away from the offers that expect you to pay money to work for them...those usually never amount to much. How are you with the computer, or with graphics programs...designing etc.

Are you a good artist perhaps, have a good instinct for working with 3d programs...game character designing is a very hot commodity right now...many of the artists work from their homes. This is an area I am looking at getting into and there is a demand for good artists so if you have the interest and some experience...it would pay pretty well.

Other ideas: contact some wholesalers (search for wholesale goods etc), and get yourself a spot with Ebay...try to avoid "drop shippers" those who send the product directly to the client, many people have had problems with this method where the clients haven't received their goods. One woman had to return over $10k in refunds because a shipper she chose shafted her and her clients. However, there are many reputable wholesalers out there, doing a background check before getting involved with them is always a good idea.

Do you have an interest in opening a play center in your home? Moms in the area who are looking for a break of a few hours 2 or 3 times a week can drop their children off...if you have 4 children at a time, where I am located a max of 5 children including your own is allowed, therefore if the spaces are alotted with a 2 or 3 hour maximum, you could in effect have 3 sets of 4 children throughout a day if you opened at 8 am and went to 5 pm.

Your rates could be adjusted to match the income you would have to bring in on a weekly, bi weekly or monthly basis. Charging $15 per child for a 3 hour slot would garner you $180/day or $900/week. Basically, you've charged less per hour than the going rate for a "child care or babysitting expert" would. You could then also afford to give families with more than one child rate breaks. To make it easier you could request the parent(s) provide one light snack and preferred drink per child, or you might wish to throw these things in with price of care and provide them yourself. Even doing this only 2 or three times per week would garner you a fairly decent weekly income...and it would be cash if you preferred that so you would always have money :) and your daughter would have play mates and be able to socialize.

Do you like to write? People do make money writing content for blogs, again a search for this will uncover a number of opportunities...or build your own blog, add some Google Adsense generators, find something that can tandem with the content that you can sell from your site, i.e. if you want to do a Diet blog...arrange to hook up with Amazon and sell books from your site that are related to it, etc.

Create your own e-books and sell them...there are a number of "publishers" on the web that post your ebook for download by others and you receive royalties, or again, choose to sell them yourself.

Okay...I could go on but perhaps something here will spark an idea, or you might already know what you'll do thanks to someone elses post...whatever, I wish you good luck and hope it all goes well for you.

I specialize in helping people to design, develop and deploy successful homebased businesses. One of the services I provide customers is Direct Due Diligence in which I investigate potential homebased business offers to determine if the offers provide legitimate opportunities. In recent months, my research reveals the following:
1. Cash flow notes is an outstanding business opportunity that you can operate all over the country from your homebased business office.
2. Buying property for pennies on the dollar and owning it free and clear in tax certificate sales is another potentially lucrative opportunity.
3. Collecting unpaid court judgment is also up and coming opportunity.
