go to the library and borrow the little book called "The richest man in Babylon" and read it. People always say things like 'you've got to budget and live frugally', and it is wise advice, however the mindset that caused you debt isn't turned around by budgetting but rather by conviction to live better and with more money and less debt. Debt is a physical result of a way of thinking and behaving. The remedy is to create more money and live more responsibly. Debt feels awful and intoxicates every part of your life. Set yourself free of such a lifestyle and headspace by reading lots about living an abundant life and educate yourself - loads of people have turned their debt laden lives around and have written books and can recommend other books. And remember to acknowledge yourself along the way. Celebrate all your little successes and milestones which may mean nothing to anyone else. Change your mindset and change your world. You are worth it. You don't want to live the rest of your life feeling like this, do you? I also got help from a debt relief program...but remember that you can get loads of help, but it's ultimately you who puts the effort in and achieves.
