there is a good book I read a couple of years ago entitled "Fast Food Nation", and they do address the aroma-infusion used by fast food chains to maintain a consistant taste around the world. Ever wonder why fries taste the same here in North America as they do in India? Now you know.

I don't know but I know that Sam's club vents the scents from the bakery towards the front door to entice people to visit the bakery.

no they don't . It is just the smell of the food cooking that draws us in.They don't have anything filtered through a system.
