I'm driving down the street & when I'm coming up to a stop sign or going around a turn, I take my foot off the gas & the car stalls!!! I put it in neutral as I'm still coasting along & start it up again, but what's causing this?

A lot of parts can cause the symptoms you described. Hopefully its something small like a sensor or the IAC valve. But it could be something big like the ECU. I would take it to a mechanic you trust to check it out. Make sure that when they test drive after "repairs", they try to duplicate the same conditions that cause the symptoms.

if u drive a stick then you dont just hit the brakes when its time to stop. U gotta use the clutch too. When it is getting to be time to stop push imn the clutcha nd brake at the same time and then shift to neutral and coast so u dont stall. If its an automatic then it could be that there is too much fuel going in the cylinders or some sort of idle control sensor issue. good luck... hope this helped

128 000? my honda has 4 hundred 000 and its in no way had subjects like that. in any case, apparently like its an idle velocity sensor or the distributor may well be a sprint out of whack. does it chug slightly in case you hit the gas and enable it drop down, then it stalls? sensors will reason automobiles to do humorous issues like that, yet i comprehend somebody who had a automobile (american automobile of direction) which became doing an identical element, and it became only that the distributor wasnt adjusted appropriate, and as quickly as the mechanic tweaked it slightly it became nice. identity look there. i doubt its the alternator, or it would only worsen over some day era. my pal had a sparkling yorker that's incredibly an identical element as a dynasty, and it died at like one hundred thirty with a 2nd engine put in there. i actually think of you will possibly desire to purchase something like a honda accord. if youve basically have been given 128 on a automobile thats that previous, youd in no way ever have maintenance in case you obtain an accord or a maxima. gas, oil, thats it, no fuss. good success

Since I don't know the make or year, I'll just guess that the valve that operates the lock up torque converter or the converter itself is staying locked up with the engine.
