Muhammad himself has glorified brute force as an instrument of spreading his opinion regarding God in difference to other Semitic faiths of his time, and impose on people by use of force. So long as he was successful he was deified by the proselytes and saw a messenger of God in him. By and large, Muslims respect power and also fear God because He is said to all powerful. It is wrong to think that Islam abjures war and non-violence.

Pakistan Foreign Minister is quoted to have said that Pakistan has been most unwillingly assisting the USA in waging war against Global terrorism. This shows how scared Pakistan is of the USA, and that is so, because the USA is militarily the most powerful country in the world. The Muslim world is becoming more united against the US every day. But they shouldn't be. A perpetual war between Islam and America will isolate the Muslim World from precisely those people who could best help them develop their economies. It will keep their nations poor and will make their cultures backward. It's not good for America either. The Muslim world is believing the rhetoric of terrorists, because these are the only people showing leadership. But it's the wrong kind of leadership.

yes, that's possible. but we Muslims should be careful in what we do. after all, "WAR" is greatly discouraged in Islam....

but then there's also another issue regarding the fact that a lot of us Muslims have totall neglected our fellow brothers and sisters in their time of need..... where were Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Muslim world when Bush's armies massacred thousands of innocent Muslims in various countries???
