In the second episode (the one with the sonogram at the end) Ross' ex-wife turned lesbian is played by a woman named Anita Barone. But that was her only apperance on the show. In the rest of the series it's played by another woman (Jane Sibbett) who we all know as the actual Carol. Does anyone know what happened to the original. Did she get the boot? Did she leave the show for another job? If anyone know's please let me know. My wife and I are dying to know. Thanks

I don't think there was any real reason, just that maybe they wanted to switch actresses.
