I've never heard of him either.... but my musical knowledge isn't great.
Either way - I admire your healthy cynicism and refusal to automatically accept what people tell you as fact. Would be cool if you're one of the first to find out its a trick by C4.

The Band is real enough - They emerged, if memory serves me right, about 2004 and were signed onto a record label about 2005. Bravo TV also did a reality/documentary following them around one of their gigs in 2005. Guns'n'Roses asked them to tour with them last year! So, the band exist. As to their popularity - well that's another thing and that might well account for his reasons for wanting to do BB. I always get the feeling he isn't as rough round the edges as he tries to make out. To quote (I believe) Ken Russell he is like a toned down Johnny Rotten from Berkshire!

I saw him before bb started on a countdown show of somekind like 50 most shocking moments of 2006 or something. I dont think he is a fake I just think he is too busy living like a rock star and not actually being a rock star? I could spike my hair, spit all over the place and take drugs, it don't make me sh!t!!?I personally think people like him should be shot at birth, what a hideous disgusting scrawny minging piece of shite- did you see him pee in the shower lastnight? And what was all that about when he went into the house- he had to have been on drugs man! I feel well sorry for Leo Sayer!

The minute I set eyes on this gentleman I felt there was something suspicious about the whole set up. In particular, the supposedly "live " shots of him and his band performing. They looked too "american", too artificial. I have asked several people if they have heard of this band and the answer is a resounding NO.
I think the producers were desperate for another "pete" character and had to invent one.

As soon as his tape introducing him came up I said, hes a fake, the whole spitting and "I was born with a lot of flem (sp?)" made me think, who does that? I have personally never heard of Towers Of London, and as soon as i heard the name, i google imaged the band name, and unfortunately lots of pictures from different sites came up of hiim and his band. I dont think hes bad looking though, just needs to tidy up a bit!

I have heard of him, and have seen clips of his show which is shown on Bravo. I didn't think the website was make do at all, it seemed to be a perfectly normal band site.

He went to public school, lives in the posh home counties, the Shires. Mummy is in the local WI and daddy is a Professor. And his real name is Patrick. So yes he is one big fake.
I liked it when mummy phoned him on his mobile when he was talking to Davina.
He is desperately trying to fake street cred but we've all seen through his miserable little act.

Unfortunately I think he is for real! Unable to hold his drink. Illiterate and with disgusting habits. You either like this or are repulsed by it. I did notice that the girls didn't cringe at Ken quite so much after Donny arrived ! They were confronted with someone even worse!

How I laughed when Leo Sayer recognised him from way back in Buckinghamshire (or was it Berkshire).
