i wonder if the fat lady is ever insulted by this cliche.
maybe she sits there and says "why can't they just change the damn saying to, It ain't over till the skinny 14 year old who thinks she's fat sings..........that little *****"

It's just a phrase that was used long ago for Opera.. because most Opera singers were fat women...
Then again.. today it could be used because so much of our society is overweight... either way it's a stupid phrase!
