I want to read some books on how to mind-read the person i care for, mostly from his/her words, supplemented by his/her tone and look. So i can speak comforting words to him/her. I need books like this. Can someone recommend me some?
thanks a lot.

In all honesty, don't bother with a book. Get to know this person. No book can tell you how to read a specific person. If you get to know them, you'd be surprised at how well you can interpret their needs and emotions. If you truly have a hard time judging people's feelings based on their physicality, perhaps you should see a counsellor.

Consult the psychology section at your local library. Look for books on body language. You might also try the public speaking and communication sections. One last place to consult would be the theology section for words of comfort.
