ok.just a bloody commuune where there is none of this media and too much society 'in ya face'.just want an easy going lifestyle.

If they even have them anymore, I'm pretty sure they don't call them hippie communes. If you're serious about joining one, you should look into the infratstructures and make sure you get in with good people. It seems to me that all the stories (tv shows, movies) about them (in the days of olde) were negative.

Sounds nice, but I think all the old hippies have cut their hair, made lots of money, and are now anticipating pensions. I don't know if any are left.

Hippie's not the way for you then. Join the Amish. The simplest and purest, most forgiving life. Would join it myself if I didn't love my PC, TV, Coffee maker so much!

I think they faded away in the early seventies.
Actually, you might end up in a cult or gang of some kind. There's a lot more of them around.

the only ones now i think are the ones who travel around.
the ones that get moved on from plase to plase and get alot of attention to!
if you want a simple life then just keep your self to your self?
if your un happy with your work job
change it!
or move to france or spain ang get a completly new life!

There are plenty of these communes they tend to be called by the more modern name of "council estates" nowadays.
