Yes this guy blew his chance to remain in office by sheer and continuing stupidity , it's high time for him to do the Honorable thing and step down before he's forced out . We need to bring back some honest dignity to the Presidency.

There is no immediate reason warranting resignation by George Bush from Presidency to which he has mandate in his favour till 2008. Certain of his actions might not have satisfied every one, but what ever he has been doing he has done to the best of his assessment and in the interest of US supremacy in global politics as the sole consideration. So where is the question of his stepping down? Where from such stupid ideas come to people who are not even competent to be an ordinary clerk in the White House?

I honestly believe that any president these days has more power than any one person should wield, especially in a Democracy. The Democratic party taking over congress will do nothing but slow down the process in which things get done. Even the most beneficial and deliberate of actions taken by the executive office over the course of the next year-and-a-half will be shot down by congress, the same as it was when Clinton was blocked by the Republican congress.
Party affiliations don't matter in Washington. Nancy Pelosi is just as corrupt as Bush; she just doesn't get as much press coverage.

No.
His term ends next year for crying out loud. He's not going to step down now. If only you realized what the democrats would say and do if he did though.

In all fairness, no. It's too early to say if the Iraq situation was a mess.....history will tell. Give it 20 years, 50, 100, years down the road and we will see if it was a genious idea or a stupid idea. In any case, I can't see us being there for any more than a couple more years.

Bush really is a moron, and the situation in Iraq is worse than Americans even know. No chance of him stepping down, but I can't wait to get someone new in the White House; Bush is letting Americans die for NOTHING.

And have John Kerry or Al Gore at the head? HELL NO! Bush isn't perfect, but he's a whole lot better than anything that could be running this country right now.

He has the popular mandate to continue in power. As the next Presidential election is in the offing there is no reason why should he step down? Are you a Muslim? If so, ask yourself as to why Muslims are scared of USA?
