how can solve the poverty of africa?

always the rich countries are saying they what to eradicate poverty in africa,but our so called leaders take the continent asset to europe,america or united kingdom,instead of them taking what belongs the masses from him,they rather shelter him by accepting him.

While it is true that there is plenty to go around and hunger and poverty are created by greed, violence is not the answer. Taking over the established governments is not the answer either.

Great changes are made by the individual. Study the works of Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, and the little boy Ryan who has raised over $1.5 million dollars for water wells in Africa.

Non-violence is key to their works as is focusing on what you desire. Do not focus on the problem - focus only on the solution. Do not be against anything - be FOR what you desire.

Feel poor and you will BE poor. Feel victimized and you remain a victim. Instead, give gratitude for all you have - no matter how little that may be - believe you have abundance and as much as you allow it, abundance will come to you.

Perhaps this is your life's calling. You could be the next Ryan, Mother Teresa, or Gandhi.

You solve the poverty of africa by getting africa a better educational system in a way thats good for africa. How exactly that would look I'm not really sure but a start is sex education cause im not even sure most africans know where babys come from let alone stuff about hiv and stuff. Lower population is one way you can reduce the poverty of africa. Because the amount of good land for growing crops is very small in africa its mostly rainforest and desert both are bad lands for growing crops. So also getting africa more technologicaly advanced would probably help poverty if done the right way... But that would probably take a ton of resorces and be possibly making a danger to the US seeing as how africa is not so stable as far as goverments go in whole. SO basicaly there is aton of problems that need to be fixed in africa and I think our leaders tend to take the easy way out and rather not deal with it then put effort forth to deal with it. And they may be right letting africa solve its own problem could be one of the better solutions the US tends to mess things up when we get involved alot of the time...

the reason people starve at the horn of africa is as you said to do with the weather, it hardly rains there so it has a lot of drought, but yet it is right next to a large body of seawater, i think the best idea is to stop giving billions of cash to Charity's which take a lot of that cash and a lot of money gets lost due to corruption, and instead those billions should be spent to build nuclear plants (because nuclear efficient and lasts long) , the plants will suck in water from the sea and evaporate to get pure Clean water, it will then be piped inland to farmland witch in turn will feed the population. that is the best idea i can come up with but it will never happen for a couple of reasons, the big Charity's like to take the peoples money using the tactics of finding the worst children they can find and putting them on TVs across the world and will not favour any thing else than money for short-term food, but probably the biggest Factor why it wont happen is because the governments of the worst african country's are corrupt as hell.

The poverty isn't caused from a lack of goods it is caused by waring tribes factions and dictator giverments that don't allow the aid to get where it needs to go. To solve the poverty problem you would have to literally take it over militarily and reset the goverment and everthing and still you would have a problem becuase all the people still hate becuae they are of another tribe you would have to wait at least one or two generations and get the prejudice out of them. They are still circumcising females for goodness sakes.

Get rid of corrupt leaders. Donating money will not help because of the corruption in these countries, the poor will never see this money. Sadly, this is the only way (war).

If everyone who has more than 90gm of gold or equalent amount of money must donate 2.5% of his/her wealth to poors.

I guarantee you will not find a poor for donation in 5 years.
