Well this is too vague of a question....what kind of frog do you have? is it a pacman that eats mice or one that eats insects? Crickets can be kept for a while and petco can send them to you...like I said not sure what species you have nor what is the reason you can't get live food as to help you out best....crickets and mice can be housed for weeks or longer as long as you feed them, mice are also very easy to breed, good luck

If the frog is a cricket eater, you can order lunchboxes on line from Timberline or Flukers. Lunchboxes are 3 dozen crickets that last up to 2 weeks. If the frog is eating any size mice, you can buy them frozen at your favorite pet store. Many Wal-Mart Super Centers have crickets and night crawlers for sale. Bait shops generally carry night crawlers, red wigglers, wax worms and crickets all year round or you can go to an independent pet shop and they will advise you how to keep the insects alive longer so that you don't run out.

hi there
it all depends on what type of frog u have .... if it's a large one and it eats mice .. then get ur self a cage some feed and buy some mice .. breed then even it cheaper that way... if it's the cricket eating kind then here what u do .. buy ur self a 55-65 gallon lg plastic container .. drill small hole in the lid add a few half potato's one side and bran on the other ... add egg carton flats (without eggs..lol) in the container and then buy ur self a 1000 crickets or less they will keep for months as long as u replace the potato's and bran.. (the potato's they use for water and bran the food)we do it all the time but we use 2000 cricket every 2 weeks ..lol lots of lizards and frogs.. we also breed our own mice and rats for our snakes and lizards that eat rodents..

Start your own cricket breeding tank. It's not that hard to do. 10 gallon tank, vermiculite (any plant nursery has it), eggcrate, monkey chow for food (any pet store has this), water dish with spinge so the crickets don't drown, and crickets (tada)!

Can you go to Wal-Mart and buy live crickets in the sports dept.? They have them at the wal-marts here. They also sell them at little convenience stores near fishing areas and also at the pet shops.
