Marriage is a GOVERNMENT RIGHT, NOT A RELIGIOUS ONE.

Its not about what's "morally right." Its about what the government gives to one set of people and not another. If they give it, it should be to all.

Of course allowed. no question about it. My only thing is that gay people will go through the same issues that straight people go through in their marriages because we are no different. The dimensions of the relationship is the same.

Allowed, of course. It's not like it's threatening anyone else's marriages. Besides, we're talking LEGAL marriage, not religious marriage...and if anyone wants to argue about that, I have a bag full of rebuttals...BRING IT ON!

oh and btw: SEPERATE BUT EQUAL IS NEVER EQUAL...we've already proven this by Supreme Court ruling. So, NO...nothing less than FULLY RECOGNIZED MARRIAGE!

Allowed! The current marriage laws in the U.S. are practicing gender discrimination! Why aren't "traditional" heterosexual marriages boycotted?

As a strong proponent of seperation of church and state, I believe that the government should only sanction civil unions and that should be for ALL people. No one should be discriminated.

When it comes to marriage, I say let the churches perform those ceremonies, since the majority of those ceremonies are of a religious nature, and let each individual faith decide who can/cannot marry.

Peace
