Basic labs are easy. You meet once a week for a few hours to do a project that relates to something that you learned a couple of weeks ago. The grad students "baby-sitting" you will usually feed you the answers that you can't figure out, because it makes them look better for you to do better. Write-ups are involved, and if you can enter the data into a computer program of their choosing, then the first week or two will consist of lessons on how to use the computer program, rather than anything to do with what you're studying.

Upper-level labs are a whole different ball game, but that's my experience with lower-level labs....like what you take because you have to, not that it really has anything to do with your major.

every week and each lab was 3 hours long. so if you took chem, phy, and bio its possible to have 9 hours of lab. usually there is a lab manual you read beforehand that tells you steps or what lab is about. and then during the lab there is a quiz or you have to write in a lab manual. there is stuff you complete/calculate in the lab- this stuff if hard b/c you do it under pressure and make sure you dont mess up the procedure. then you take some data home and answer q's, graph, determine unknown substance or value, etc. theres usually a few papers worth a lot. make sure you pick a good lab supervisor (they give grades!)

nicely i think of the 1st semester of the two one became lots much less annoying than the 2nd! So i might decide for selection #3, esp in case you comprehend you're poor in physics. in case you like chem greater beneficial or physics greater beneficial i might circulate with that however! as far as intro courses circulate, it relies upon on how lots intro you have had your self. I had a three hundred and sixty 5 days of chem and physics in excessive college and that i became nice for the instructions. in case you have not had that for the time of excessive college, perhaps an intro may well be good. Do you have an consultant you like? in case you do, perhaps talk this with them.
