What does the phrase; "My eyes are on heavenly things"?

It could mean the person is in love. It could mean the person is religious. It could mean the person is dreaming.... It could mean various things. You have to take it in context with whatever else is said before and after the phrase.

It means the person has his sights set on something they consider heavenly, otherwordly , like nothing else.

I guess it could mean a couple of things.

1) whomever the person is looking at is like an angel

2) the person is saved and is setting his sights on heaven as his eternal home.

I think it means that you value intangible things such as love, friendship,compassion etc more than earthly or material things
