1. No.... at week 12 the baby is only about 14 grams or 0.5 oz. its not until around the 26th week that the baby weighs 2 lbs.

2. the sex of the baby can be found out as early as 18 weeks BUT normally isn't found out till a few weeks later. i found out around the 20th.

3. around the 4th week is the beginning of the embryonic period when the brain, spinal cord, heart and other organs begin to form.

4. here is a guess in what the baby should weigh...
week 20: 10.5 - 12.3 oz
week 24: 1.3 - 1.5 lbs
week 28: 2.4 - 2.75lbs
week 32: 4.2 - 4.4 lbs
week 36: 6.3 - 6.5 lbs
week 40: 7.5 - 7.6 lbs

5. false, lungs for example are still developing even at week 30.

6 they are noticeable around the 5th week.

7. around 16 weeks the sense organs (ears, eyes, ect) are noticeable.

8. fertilization occurs when an egg meets with a sperm in the fallopian tubes. this is a 2 - 3 day period. sperm can live up to three days in a woman’s system, so a woman can get pregnant 3 days after she has sex as long as she is ovulating

9. the baby is about 1.5 lbs around week 24

(keep in mind everyone considers ''months'' different. some consider pregnancy more like 10 months than they do 9. this is how i am considering them :

month 1: day one to week 4, day of last menstrual cycle is day one, so the first month includes fertilization. week 2 being the day of conception.
month 2: week 4 to week 8
month 3: week 8 to week 12
month 4: week 12 to week 16
month 5: week 16 to week 20
month 6: week 20 to week 24
month 7: week 24 to week 28
month 8: week 28 to week 32
month 9: week 32 to week 36
month 10: week 36 to week 40 )
