I don't think you are pregnant. I am sorry, but I won't harp on the negative. You may still, I mean there's always a bit of hope!!

I have gone months without having a period. I have had to be put on medications to cause a period. Your periods can be off because of stress, illness, and many other factors. I know this is a trying time, but I would recommend you try out the site www.mymonthlycycles.com and start charting your symptoms and cycles. Once you know your body it may be easier to get pregnant or help the Dr figure out whats going on and what the next step maybe.

GOOD LUCK!

They WON'T give you a blood test? I wouldn't go to that doctor anymore. If there is something potentially serious, it should be taken care of right away. I would suggest going to an urgent care or even a hospital. They will give you the answers you need. The only advice you can really get from any of us on this site is to see a doctor immediately. Without a proper examination, you will not be able to know if there is anything wrong. But there is not necessarily anything seriously wrong, so please don't be discouraged. Wait and see what the doctor can do for you, hun. Good luck!

If I were you, I would first rule out pregnancy absoloutley. The only way to do this is through a blood test. A great resource is Planned Parenthood. Just google them & see if they have an office in your area. Then call up & make an appointment, or they have drop-in hours. They do a sliding scale payment plan, so it is defintley affordable. If that test comes up negative, then you have cause to be concerned & I would see what your doctor can do. Good luck!

with my mom, ( i think this is rare) a blood test would not show a positive result for her untill she was five months along. who ever told you about the clot flying up to your head, thats nuts. dont worry, a late period can be caused from stress and lots of other things. if it turns out that you are not pregnant, if you are ready for a baby, dont give up! be sure to ask your doctor lots of questions, and make sure you get all the answers you want. i hope everything turns out ok, i wish you the best of luck! (some women go for months without any symptoms of being pregnant, you may be one of the lucky ones!)

omg-whatever you heard about a blood clot going to your head is NOT true!
if a doctor wont give you a blood test--really, Id have started looking for a new doctor.

you could be missing your period because this sounds like it is really stressing you out.

seriously, find yourself a new doctor & go from there.

I think you're doing the right thing by asking for a blood test. That is the only way to know for sure if you're pregnant or not.

Go to the doctor. Tomorrow. Or now depending on where you live.
