I wish I knew what childhood was.
I was busy raising my little sister while my mom was out partying. She wasn't a bad mother don't get the wrong impression but she wasn't ready for parenthood though neither was I.
I wish I didn't know so many things at such a young age.And that I didn't have to keep those fears away from my little sister.I wish I didn't know that the monster's aren't always under the bed but standing in front of you and often with a smile.
But at the same time I'm glad that I knew these things and she didn't have to find them out until later in her life at appropriate ages and moments. So I'm proud that I did right by her and that she never felt alone or abandoned.
I wish I knew when I entered adulthood where did my childhood go and was I angry when it was lost or did I just go with the flow...
And as an adult I still have the tendency to go with the flow no matter what feelings I might have about it.I figure moving forward and creating new moments is certainly better than standing still and entertaining ghosts from past moments.

Probably not exactly what you were asking but for me that's the answer I had first and foremost.

The one thing I have done that I am most proud of is having and raising my son.

The one thing I wish I knew when I entered adulthood was that it was okay to just be myself.

Raising my son and daughter.

Looking back, I would have gone through college. I would have done a lot of things differently. But, here I am, the sum of what was that is; so I'll take that hard won wisdom to better my life from here.

Getting my degree in nursing. I would have started earlier if I could change anything about my past but nursing has been wonderful.
