New "Star Blazers"?

Question

Anyone remember Star Blazers? it was a 70's early 80's Japanese animation that came to america and was translated and casted in english.

Someone started writing a sequel story in comic book and i have heard talk of a movie.

For those who remember the show would you go see a movie after all these years?

Maybe...But to really drive interest in it they really should play the series on Cartoon Network. (If no one remembers the Argo or the mission to Ishcandar then why would they go to a movie?)
