I want to be an actress and I could use a little help please!

If you want to be an actress you've got to have motivation and drive. There are going to be a lot of people telling you NO you don't look the part or NO your not good enough. If you think that you are able to handle the constant pressure and rejection from others and quite possibly your family then I would say go for it.
The first thing you need to do is get your headshots done. Your headshot is your calling card. It tells who you are, its the first thing a casting director will see as well as your agent.
Next do some serious research on agents. When you find at least 10 or more that you like mail your head shot and resmue to them. It may take a while to get a response but hang in there.
Next take classes. There are very FEW if ANY natural born actors. Many have going to school or had some sort of training.
Finally get involved locally i.e. plays, local commercials anything and everything that might help you become who you feel you want to be.
A GREAT book to read is Acting Professionally by Robert Cohen. I had to read it my freshman year of drama school. One of the best acting books I've read!

well if you want to be an actress youve got to know if you can act.
try doing a little play or act infront of some people then gather their opinions and see how many people liked you or not.
when i was at school i was the queen of acting!!!!!!

If you have not studied enroll in an acting class. Call the Community Theater in your city and ask them to recommend acting schools in the city where you live.
