First of all, you've got to break in the shoes.

Wear them at home and try to get the shoes to mould to the shape of your feet.

The brand Scholl carries products like blister plasters (which really works) and there's a cloth plaster thing which you can paste onto the back of your shoes. This would reduce the friction when you walk, but one downside for this is that it leaves unsightly marks on the shoes when you remove them.

You can wear colourful tights when going out, especially with cullottes or skirts.

Or, you can wear those nude-coloured socks that's cut to the shape of your shoes.

Or you can always wear Band-Aids.

Either buy a cushion made by Dr. scholls that you stick to the back of the shoe, or take them to the shoe repair guy and get them stretched out.

they have heel inserts at the shoe dept at nordstroms. just ask and they will give you one, it may help if not. i suggest wearing bandaids where the heel rubs, until you break your shoes it. i do both of these and it works for me!

Sounds like you'll just have to get used to them.

I bet if you give them a while you'll get used to them.
