I've been studying logarithms and exponential equations for weeks and here's the question I got from a Math test in one of the colleges here in Vancouver...What's the connection?! Anyway, it's so stupid of me to not get the answer right away! This calls for an I.Q.

enable's write out the days of the week. it would want to assist with visualization: Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday 3 days earlier the following day is Thursday. 2 days earlier the following day is Friday. in the destiny earlier the following day is Saturday. the following day is Sunday. Then, present day Saturday. the day handed by change into Friday. what's 4 days after Friday? (count number down 4 on the record).

I don't see any connection with logs.
Think of it this way.
1) The day after yesterday is today.
2) Four days before today is Saturday.
3) Tomorrow is 4 + 1 = 5 days after Saturday.
4) Five days after Saturday is Thursday.

Let's draw a chart.
Start from what you know about Saturday and work backwards until you get to "today".
Saturday = 4 days before the day after yesterday
Sunday
Monday
Tuesday = yesterday
Wednesday = day after yesterday = today
Thursday = TOMORROW!
Friday
Answer is Thursday.
