I've had a relationship over the internet with my best (now ex) friend but i dont think thats really a relationship so um i really want to know how to get ready for an actual personal relationship? How do i overcome my shyness and be confident like i was in the 8th grade? i'm in 11th now and i feel retarded because i've never had a girlfriend other than the one over the internet.

Just be patient man, i swear to god i was just like you a couple of months ago except for the whole internet thing, and im actually in the 12th grade. I was patient and i waited, and now i have a wonderful girlfriend that isnt JUST based on looks. I took my time to get to know her before we even started going out. and the best part is since i was the shy one, shes the one who asked me out.
Just hang in there, no need to prepare for something like that, because when it happens every new day is an adventure, and life is so much more enjoyable when you have no clue whats going to happen next
