I would fast foward to the future then rewind to the present so i can see what i would do for a living and if anything's bad i would rewind to try to fix it.

I would like to fast forward it just to see where it is going, but then I would like to rewind it and put it on slow motion so that I can enjoy it as long as possible.

Just keep it on play. Rewind as needed to reminisce sweet memories but never to fast forward.

If I get to change things (y'know, edit the tape) then rewind. Otherwise leave it on play. Don't fast forward it, you might miss something important.
