it just seems longer because of the 3 rings and they are

- engagement ring
- wedding ring
- and suffering

It is a fact, that people who have a companion live longer than someone alone. Don't know where the information came from, but I saw that in a magazine.

I saw a study that they do. On average about 5 to ten years longer. I would go find the site with the study for you, but I don't care that much. Sorry.

research shows that marriage helps in the longevity of ones life whether or not you are happy in it....

being committed to some one makes one more responsible and gives someone a reason to live... and with your children coming too ... you are made to want to live for their sake against all odds which turns out good coz you begin growing up with them all over again.... a nice experience... even if it seems difficult :)

"statistics", for what they're worth, say married men live longer and single women live longer...sounds contradictory!

I just hope that I will be married someday, Personal longevity is not even my concern yet.
I'm pretty sure pass on until I have fulfilled my purpose in life.

i think being married suffer more than single people we get all the stress with hubbie,kids etc...since the single people don't go through that..but it depends on the person to
