I think if I had wheels, he would pay more attention to me. I so totally understand what you are saying. I always told him he needed to have a career in cars, so we started an Auto Transport & Towing Business. He loves it. He is a really sweet guy, but that is what he does most of the time is look at cars, trucks, trailers, on ebay, or when we go somewhere he'll say, Wow did you see that truck?" like every few minutes. And I swear he knows the year make model, engine size, etc. of every vehicle he sees. I guess he could be worse, he could be looking at other women instead, which he doesn't do thank goodness.

I know what you are talking about, but it's not just cars. It's Nascar or any kind of races. We have the stupid Speed channel. If I weren't here, he would be watching it 24/7.

We can be in the middle of a real good movie and all of a sudden he disappears. I look around, he's upstairs watching racing. It is so annoying. I couldn't stand racing when I met him. I hate it even more now.

I'm like you, I feel like he's cheating with the cars. I really don't think he'd be interested in another woman. But, sometimes it gets real irritating. I can't understand the fascination.

Yes I know how your feeling. Mine has an obsession with the older models. And it doesn't help that his best buddy is the same way. But I think it is healthy for them to have an interest/ hobby. He is so cute when all the sudden he gets excited like a child while driving down the interstate and sees a oldie.

YES!!!
Everytime he compliments me - I am held in comparison with a car...."Babe, you look as pretty as a 69 Camaro" or "I love the color of your shirt. Chevy has started using that color...."
If my husband were to be dropped into the playboy mansion and surrounded by all the playmates, he would be more interested in going to see what is in the garage.
I can't really complain though, at least it's not drugs, drinking, other women or gambling.
He now drives a drag car - so guess how we spend our summers............

I don't, but I know it can be a hobby for some men out there. If you married into this and you already knew that they had a thing with cars, then guess you will have to tolerate that. But if it becomes a problem with your marriage, like spending money on them when you are in dept when you need to pay the mortgage or bills, than that is a problem.

I would rather my husband be obsessed with cars than the bodies of other women. It's something that he is passionate about and people need something like that in their lives if it makes them happy and eases stress.

It is called "Over Obcessive Mechanic Disorder." About 1/3 of all men have this genetic disorder. I know I have it. But that is the first step, Admitting it!

Well, my husband was in to formula 1and cars. So basically even if you strip infront of him he completely doesnt see anything. So I'm proud to say that he wouldn't be looking at women...... because it takes a red shinny fast car for him to start drooling at.

After the whole race he gets to drool at me.lol......
