First let me explain.... NOTE "I do not have ABS"

December 2005, it was raining... I was driving past a construction site and hit a cinderblock, Now I know why the speed limit is lower near construction.

Well, my brakes stopped working. I had to go home in the rain slowly using my e-brake. I would push the brake all the way down and it felt like only 1 wheel would brake.

I took it to a shop, they changed the rim, then the master cylinder (That did not need replacing), replaced my brake pads, then they put presure into the brakes. I got reamed, but I did not care. My car was working.

1 year later, today.... When I start my car, the car's brakes are VERY loose... I push the pedal to the floor and the wheels won't lock, BUT If I continue to drive my car's brakes tighten to the point where if I barely push the pedal it brakes hard. I found out... that it actually is lightly applying the brakes as I drive.

Any Idea what could be causing This/How to fix it?

I think you are confused. Go find a good shop. If your car is old maybe it's time for a new one. To me it sounds like the cinder block cut a brake line. Now who knows whats wrong. Need to look at it.

it sounds to me like one of your brake calipers has become stuck, and has been dragging, this can cause the fluid to boil, causing bubbles to form in the lines, causing the loose feeling when you first start driving. As the brake pad continues to drag, heat builds up, and causes the fluid to expand making the brakes tight again. Have a reputable mechanic check the brakes on all 4 wheels. This is a dangerous condition, and should be addressed by a professional.
also make sure they drain and refill all fluid in the system, this should be done regularly, because brake fluid becomes acidic over time, and will ruin the rubber seals throughout the system, and if it has been boiled this will damage the fluid

Have you EVER checked your brake fluid level??? This is probably what caused your problem in the first place. If it's low, add some, and check it periodically. You probably have a leak. I'd take it to a REAL repair shop and get them to repair the leak that the first guys didn't repair... what a bunch of buttholes those guys were!
