would you date or marry a guy who's 16 years older than you, why and why not?

YES l would but it would depend on the ages you are talking about. Let's say he was 34 and she was only 18 then l would probably say no but if he was 46 and she was 30 for instance l don't think that it would be a problem. As long as they loved each other that's really all that matters.

There are several things to consider when marrying someone much older than you. Everything is fine when you start but what if your marriage lasts 25 years or more, there will eventually be health issues to consider, some serious. There's nothing wrong with dating an older man but think long term if considering such a marriage.I married a man 10 years older,we've been together for 30 years and he's been a great husband to me and father to our children but at this point in our lives we both have needs that can not be fullfiled because his health has deteriorated. He worries about me because I'm still in good shape and he can not perform and I worry about him because I know he wishes he could. He's very emotionally dependent on me,I think he sometimes fears I'll find someone my age and have an affair though I have always been faithful to him as he has been to me but all this is part of his aging and health issues. So be wise and think carefully. The thing is if I had to do it all again I would still choose him.

Hi, i would, that is if he weren't married to someone else. No divorcee but maybe a widower. The reason is that older men just know how to treat women right, though not all of them!!! most of them have enough experience and that is what all ladies want. Isn't that right ladies? Age mates or younger guys are always impatient and in a hurry.........to go somewhere or do stuff, that puts me off.

Absolutely Not. Cause I am 28 yrs old, and I would marry someone who is no younger than 18, and no older than 38.

I don't want a man who is almost old enough to be my Daddy.

My spouse is 6 years older than me and he treats me like a little girl and he acts like a daddy. That is fine with me because I like to be pampered and baby-ed.
I can't answer the question for you because you would have to experience it yourself. If you want to try dating older man then go for it!

I would, only because I think older men are sexy. When I was 17, I dated a 34 year old. If you are into that, it is perfectly okay.

My husband is 11 years older than me and I love him to death. I think my husband has experience on life and relationships. I think that I've learned a lot from him since we'd met and I'm proud of us because we've beat all odds that were against us.

Absolutely. If the love is there - than so be it!
BUT, if one is not of legal age then I would agree that it is not healthy nor should they be dating or marry.
