This is my system:

CoolMax 550W CR-Series PSU
Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
Athlon San Diego 3700+@2420MHz/Stock Fan
Corsair Value 1GB Dual Channel DDR400 PC3200 RAM
Maxtor DiamondPlus 9 80GB SATA 150 HD
Leadtek 6600GT PCI-E 128MB 526/1005
Sound Blaster Live! 24bit 7.1
Lite-On DVD-RW
Samsung Floppy Disk Drive

Keep in mind that I use this computer for gaming...but i'm not looking to overclock. And I'll wait for when more affordable DX10 mid-range cards come out or when the 8800GTS and GTX lower in price.

Option#1:
Swap my 3700 with a x2 Dual proc(stock speed has to be high)
Add another 1GB of memory
The DX10 Video Card

Option#2
Swap BOTH my motherboard+cpu for a LGA775 MB that supports Intel Core 2 Duo(stock speed also has to be clocked higher)
1GB RAM
DX10 Video Card

Option#3:

Sell my current system. And get a brand new one.I say this because in the last couple of days I've found very good deals on computers with Intel Core 2 Duo(And Pentium D)/2GB RAM/High End level DX9 ATI or NVIDIA card.Which I can swap later on with a DX10 card.

The deals I've found on ebay have been in 500-800 dollar range.

Think it boils down to money. A dual would help slightly, but not that much. Being an older 939 socket, maybe quickly upgrade it or (recommended) wait it out. Cpus don't really help the game that much, very few actually require alot of cpu power.
As for memory, 2gb total would do wonders according to what games you play.
The most important part for games, is the video card. DX10 is not important at all since NO games actually support it yet. Something like a X1950 pro or XT would be a huge jump in performance. And since you have a PCI-E slot, that card can transfer when you do upgrade the motherboard/memory/cpu (yes, you would have to upgrade all three at the same time).
So.....
Option#4 Upgrade the video card to a much better model. Upgrade the rest in a year or two. Goto www.tomshardware.com for benchmarks on video cards.

NOTE: ebay will NOT get you any deals or save money. It's just fact. Either you match their overpriced minimum required price or you don't get the product. It's really only good for selling only. And you don't have to take my word for it, just take the closed bid price on a item, goto a computer part (or what ever sells the part you looked at) like (www.newegg.com for computer parts) and find out they bought a used product for more than a new one with a warranty! This is how it usually goes. Extremely rare to actually get your money's worth from ebay.

I'd go for option one. First off, the X2 is an AMD processor I believe, and if I assume right, it's a 64 bit processor, which will kick the butt of any dual core 32 bit processor. And yeah, you'll want more ram also.

If you can get what you want for you system then I would sell. Otherwise your best option is #2.

I reccommend Siren Griffin to enhance her roar. possible kill Sonic growth's toddlers in conflict Mode, so it somewhat is greater sensible in tale mode (they could get killed through enemies too however, yet they could attack quicker and you have 4 toddlers at as quickly as).
