YES!!!!! It goes something like this.

"Oh, that is an interesting question. I'll do this one then go to bed."

"Oh, I have a great answer for this one too."

4 hours later

"I can't believe he said that! What a moron! He needs me to issue him his opinion then I am going to bed."

"Another moron! I can't believe it! Boy they are out tonight!"

. . . . . then you hear your alarm clock going off!!!!!

My son was sneaking up on school nights and playing Game Tap. He is only seven! I put a password lock on our screen saver before bed each night and set it to come on with one minute of inactivity. The password is what I might say to him if I caught him on the computer at 3:00 AM so he will never figure it out. You could ask someone to do something like that for you.

Or, if you need to be finished and off the computer by a certain time, you could schedule tasks, like scan disk, virus scan, defrag for you computer to do at that time every day. Also you can set up reminders for yourself to tell you to stop at a certain time. You can do this with Microsoft Works Calendar. Yahoo has a calendar feature too but I have never used it.

Continually.
One idea that I've thought of (but haven't yet tried) is to set a timer that will count down for a certain predetermined amount of time while I am on the computer. Once the timer goes off, I'm done!

Yes, I suffer from this phenomenon too!
I look at the time at the lower right hand corner of the screen...and I say to myself...just 30 more minutes...just 15 more minutes...then I'll log out. Next thing I know... it's 3am!
I think if you enjoy your time spent on line, and you can still perform your daily routine and take care of your other responsibilities...I wouldn't worry about it too much. Enjoy!

I used to but not anymore. It kind of stops when you're continually stressed out and should be doing something or being somewhere. All I do is look at the clock over and over...

Yes, try looking at the clock on your computer. It helps a little.
