The answers up front, explanation following: it may or may not be serious. If it doesn't clear up within a day or two, I would see a specialist. You can take Ibuprofen for swelling. If it is a urinary tract infection(having to pee frequently is a common symptom of a UTI, though it could be indicative of something else), cranberry juice can help clear it up and can help in less serious conditions as well.
As a guy, I have had this problem, but there are also times that are on the other side of the time spectrum. In any case, this has happened with three different partners. With one, there was no incidence except that MY private part was sore- but I think this was just due to the length of use. With another, there was swelling of her external parts, which was a little disconcerting for me. For her, I think it was moderately painful, but we never visited a specialist for it- it only happened once or twice. There were also occasions with this partner that there were tiny abrasions inside and around the entrance- I think they caused some discomfort if not slight pain, but again, not something serious. One corollary though, would be that blood-born pathogens could be a concern- though not as much for someone in a monogamous relationship. Also, with this same partner, I think she did have the sensation of having to pee. One time, she even got a UTI, but those are easily overcome with medicine. With the third partner where this was a problem, extended sex sessions following a period when we had less frequent sex(ie during her period), she would have severe discomfort for a day, and sometimes feel the sensation of having to pee. In her case, there were allergies at work, and a combination of Ibuprofen and benadryl helped. I once asked a clinician about our situation and those were the prescribed treatments.

Could be you have some swelling, which could lead to a uti. Have you not peed at all?
I am thinking you have had some urine pass but just keep feeling like you have to pee and make numerous trips that don't result in urine passing. If you can't pee at all go to the ER.
I would think about seeing a doctor if it's not getting better. In the future you might want to use some additional lubrication during prolonged sex.
But it sounds to me like perhaps your urethra has some inflammation, if it's still bothering you I would see your doctor.

I had this same thing once before. NO it was NOT UTI just the results of having too much sex. The feeling lasts for a few hours and goes away but if the feeling doesn't go away, I suggest you see your doctor because it could be UTI.

You may have a urinary tract infection triggered by the rough sex. No harm done. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse or doesn't get better, do see a doctor and if you do have UTI, he'll perscribe an antibiotic.

If you feel like you have to pee all the time and you're sore, you have a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection); very common to get after sex especially if you don't clean yourself afterwards.
Go see your Gyn for diagnosis and medication. He/she will give you an antibiotic pill for a UTI. Be sure to eat yogurt while on the medication to keep your good bacteria in your system.

Youo probaby have whats called 'honeymooncysitis'. Its a bladder infection from having too much sex or having sex for a long time. Go get some cranberry juice, drink it and see if it helps...you'll have to see a Dr for some antibiotics, it's not catching...drink LOTS of water...
