i just downloaded the sims 2 on my computer it worked but it was very very slow is there a place like best buy or something to get a new memory card its not a laptop its a regular computer my dad cant find any memory cards that would fit into it anywho i just want to know if there are any stores that sell memory cards

Check with crucial.com to see what type of memory your computer requires. Print or write down the information, then you can buy it from crucial.com, or another online store, or go to where you bought the computer and get the proper memory for it from them. Notebooks use SIMM not DIMM. Make sure that you also know the maximum memory capacity that the notebook will handle. If you have 256Mb now, get a 1GB SIMM or another 256Mb to get you to at least 512Mb of memory if the notebook will handle it. You need more than 256Mb of memory nowadays.

Yes Best Buys has all kinds of different memory cards depending on whether or not your unit can use them. If you can't find what you are looking for, remember you can always do disc cleanup or defragmentation, or even delete programs you haven't used in some time.

What you need to get is RAM memory first look for what type of ram memory your comp. uses by looking at your computer user guide.
then buy wanted memory at compusa or bestbuy

go to TigerDirect Best Buy or any computer store (Comp USA) or buy it offline.
just goto crucial.com and find your computer type. then it will tell u the type u need or bring your model and type to the store and theyll do it for you

yah its called a portable usb drive, comes in all sizes, but what i would do as an alternative to buying something is go to start>allprograms>acessories>systemtools>disk defragmenter, defragmenting your hard drive will make it faster, pushing files you dont use towards one side of the hard drive, giving you more memory to work faster.
