Relax. That's the first step to getting somewhere other than the sofa alone. Women know when guys are tense or nervous, so even if you don't have the confidence you wish you did, fake it until you make it. Eventually you will get comfortable and things should start working a bit better, albeit the going might be a little rusty.

When you are out and about, make a point of asking any question or making any comment to any woman. Start with the women that aren't intimidating to you - because they are not your type, age, etc... As you realize you are not at a loss for words, and that women are people, you will ease into talking to the possible, desirable, eligible women. Get comfortable in your skin by reviewing all the good you know that is in you and wear that on your sleeve. Good luck.

No, never assume that the woman you're talking to will appreciate you talking to her as a dude .. in fact I doubt any woman will appreciate that. Be yourself. Us women can tell right away if you're fake. Never tell a lie about yourself. You can start by talking about normal things like interests, work, hobbies.. stuff like that... Do not be "too careful" to say what you think or feel. Women appreciate honesty
It might seem hard at first, but at least give it a try.

Well be yourself! There is nothing more frustrating than meeting someone you really like, and later find out they are just a joke and nothing like the person you met. Seriously- just stay calm, start with easy things like, What do you do for a living...you know, ice breakers :) Good luck with your new life! I don't know your situation but sometimes divorce is a really good thing.

I am a 28 year old female. I was my spouse's only girlfriend and he was a virgin when he met me. He didn't know how to talk to women. He didn't know how to talk to me when we dated. He was quiet and shy. I guess I talked alot and that's how it worked out.
If you have a male friends, pick one of the friends who are suave and knows how to talk to people. Go out together to a club and ask him to be your wingman.Your wingman is not allowed to date the women or sleep with them when he is trying to hook you up with. His job is to talk about you, all your good qualities, etc to other women.
Can you email me @ missfine101@yahoo.com cuz I can't type everything on here. I have a lot of techniques because I used to hook up my friends together.

Well, just like you learned the first time by trial and error, well, what you did once, you can more than likely do it again.

wat i think u should do is on a day that u r free, ask out ur guy and gal friends. or just have a little party, with ur guy friends while they invite some of their gurl friends.
have fun by playing games for adults or just plain fun games.
when this happens, u will talk to them naturally. u could also introduce urself, ask them wat they like to do and all sorts.
talk to them about wat they like to do.
it usually gets them started!!
good luck to u...
and i hope this was at least a lil' bit of help!! :D
