There are women who still like to cook and clean, but I am not one of them. I do it because my children need to eat and deserve to live in a clean home, but I am by no stretch of the imagination a "neat freak". There are lots of homemaking groups online and i've noticed that all of the people on there talk ALL THE TIME. They talk about the things they plan on getting done this week, but if they are on the computer all the time how is this stuff getting done?!

Personally I hate doing dishes more than anything in the world, and I hate having to get up and clean every day.

In all honesty, I absolutely love to cook and clean. There is no greater feeling than preparing a meal that I know people I love and care about will enjoy. Cleaning works the same way. No (decent) man is going to want to come home to a dirty house and empty stove/table. I think women who enjoy cooking and cleaning are hard to find, but there are some of us out there!

I try to cook, but my husband is a much better cook then I am. SInce I am home more I do most of the cleaning. I don't mind it at all. I also like, and he does aswell, make his lunch before he leaves for work. I guess you could say it is kind of corny, but I like it. I think I will do the same things I am doing now, when I finish my degree and start working. It is, to me, another way I show him how much I love him.

I love to cook not big on the cleaning up. The thing is now with the way things are women can't just stay at home and be housewives(in most cases). Need both incomes to support the family therefore now housework is more shared...

I think it depends on the woman and the circumstance. I love cooking, but whats even better is when hubby offers to clean up afterwards. But its not right to both be working full time and drop cooking, cleaning and childcare all on the female half of the relationship

I am a working woman.. I put in 40+ hours a week. And I still very much enjoy coming home and making that my Fiance comes home to a hot home cooked meal and a clean house. It gives me great pleasure to know that he is full and happy. I cant speak for all women but I do enjoy it.

I love to cook, but don't have much time anymore.

I don't mind cleaning, I don't like being EXPECTED to clean up after someone who is just as capable. That's not a woman thing, that's a decent, have common decency and respect for the people you live with thing.

i like to cook, clean and organise stuff around the house. My husband always relies on me to find stuff around the house. His wardrobe, files and papers, laundry, toiletries, foods and lunches everything is organised in such a way that most of the times, he doesn't even need to ask and he appreciates my effort in making his life easier and does his part to make my life easier by shopping for me and picking up the groceries from the list which i hate doing.

I do, but not in the way in which you are insinuating. I like to have a clean home, and when I have time, I like to cook. My husband likes to cook, too. In fact, he cooks more than I do.
