I'm sure you're not ugly. I have pretty bad acne and I've tried all kinds of skin products: Clearasil, Biore', Neutrogena, etc. Depending on the severity of your skin there are many products you can use. If it's severe, see a dermatologist. Accutane works amazingly well and it's the only medicine that will get rid of acne forever. There are some pretty bad side effects (very dry skin, mild nosebleeds, etc.) but I think it's worth it in the end. If you don't have such severe problems, using Clearasil will make it look better in 3 days (as it says on the guarantee), but it won't keep it away. Wash your face twice a day and use something like Neutrogena products. I recommend seeing a dermatologist though, as they can diagnose the problem professionally.

Make sure that any product you use on your face is unscented. Fragrances can irritate the skin. I use Dove bar soap for sensitive skin to wash my face and then Eucerin moisturizing lotion for sensitive skin. I have T zone skin, oily in some spots and dry in others. The Dove soap keeps my face from getting too oily. If you want a good face mask, use Queen Helene mint julep masque. It will help dry out your skin a little bit.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

I went to a dermatologist. They helped A LOT! The thing that really helped me (that I found) is something called Murad. There is different types. Like one for acne and ect. I got my facewash and toner at Ulta. I heard they have them at Sephora too. I recomend that brand for your skin. The only thing is, they are expensive!! Facewash-$26 and toner-$20

The Biore line is pretty good on oily skin. I use it and don't really have the problem with overdrying.
