Trash is fine! It isnt really any environmentally hazardous. Batteries are a differnet story tho.

Batteries are not the best things to thorw in the trash. But, as long as it is the adapter, you should be ok to throw it out.

Yes, and I give it less then 6 hours and someone will pick it up. working or not some parts are interchangeable.
