Look at the prescription package in the latest medicare/medicaid bill. It was written by lobbyists in the presence of Republican legislators and passed without debate. The bill essentially took away the ability of the program to negotiate prescription drug prices to get the best deal for our seniors. You've heard the horror strories about the choices seniors on fixed incomes must make in order to survive--there's a perfect example.

1. Affirmative action made it legal to discriminate against white males
2. By ignoring our own laws to promote illegal immigration, our politicians are selling our country down the drain. They are bankrupting our educational, medical, and prison systems.
3. There is now a push in California to make medical insurance mandatory for all people. They are attempting to initiate this by starting with all children. Even those of illegal aliens. They figure this will be more acceptable because "it's for the children." Cow Caca - all legal citizens should be taken care of before we even think of doling out anything to the illegal invaders.
4. Political gerrymandering is commonplace to insure incumbents are voted back in.

I could go on and on, but let me sum it up for you... Politicians don't give a damn about us. Their primary job it to gain more wealth and power, and to perpetuate their own jobs.
