Ive heard it has taken 2months for women to get a positive on a pregnancy test. They have symptoms and doctors say your not. How long did it take?

about two minutes staring at a stick in the bathroom...
I took my HPT a couple days before my missed period and it came back positive. It is not common to have inaccurate tests...especially blood tests.

=) on the 2 months finding out about pregnancy...
I took the urine test on the day I was supposed to get my period. It came out (+)ve. Waited for 3 days, took it again, and it came out the same. On the fourth day afterwards, doc did blood work, and hcg level in blood confirms there's a bun in the oven =)
So, from the moment of my ovulation + conception, it took about 2 weeks for a confirmation of my pregnancy. That's about a month past my first day of last period.

lol, girl, I didn't even realize I missed my period until my bfs mom brought it up to me when it was just me and her in the car one day when we were on our way to pick him up from work, I had my mind on other things, I wasn't really studying it, my period comes and goes at different times sometimes so I wasn't too worried. I had to take like 5 or 6 at home pregnancy tests to really believe that I was pregnant because I was really happy and excited, to answer your question, I was 7 almost 8 weeks pregnant when I found out.

I got a positive answer on a home pregnancy test a week before I was supposed to get my period!

I took a test a day or so before my missed period and it read positive so I found out that I was pregnant right away.

6 weeks after my last period. It was 4/12 I found out 5/23.

I was almost 4 months pregnant with my first child before found out that I was pregnant. I only found out then because I was having very bad stomach pains.

it took me 5 days after my periods were due.but had i payed attention to the weird things my body was doing i think i could have found out earlier.
