well, Gitmo is bad, has to be abolished. but then, claiming he will not get a fair trial, I doubt it. states known for the just justice system. and the normal courts in states have no jurisdiction over the gitmo in cuba, but then military courts will be set for them. claiming hicks have nothing to do is a farce claim, because what he was doing in afghanistan and with Al-Qaeda? playing chess? and what about his phone to his father claiming he is not aware of 9/11 attacks?? however, he might not be real bad, but he has to be tried and held until his trial. I m not sure if Americans have strong evidence against him or have strong motives to keep him.
if you really want help the justicec, you should ask that he tried in front of military courts of us, I don't understand why you claim rigged court and/or fake trial?? more over, who did receive capital punishment from terrorists yet? even Mosawi received life in prison not execution.

The congress voted in the last session to suspend habeas corpus, giving the president the right to declare anyone - even a US citizen - a person 'supporting terrorism', and then hold that person without trial or right to an attorney indefinitely. Essentially, our Congress tore up one of the basic tennents of our legal system. It's frightening and bizarre, and needs to be fixed. But for the moment, it's perfectly legal to hold anyone the President choses forever, without given them an attorney, a trial, or even telling anyone where they are being held.

Well, that's not exactly what some of the more learned people today think... but, how would you like it if each and every Yank that committed a crime against YOUR country was turned over to America to "ensure a fair trail"? That hardly seems to make sense, huh...? Just like your comments! Go get an education. Go learn something about today's war on terrorists and those that would overthrow a government through fear and bombings and oppress the multitudes and impose a tyranny... or a Theocracy! Or... just wake up!
You know what bothers me about idiotic comments like that...? You're worried about the sentiments and SUPPOSED humiliation of some really bad characters who bombed and tortured men, women and children... but what about the rights, dignity and feelings of those these bad characters victimized and killed? What about the hundreds of thousands of women and young girls denied an education and kept from taking an active role in society and prevented from voting... the same rights, liberties, freedoms and privileges the women in civilized countries take for granted? What about the mass murders of their own people and surrounding countries simply because they're in disagreement or choose to believe in another form of worship?
Wake up and stop spewing such nonsensical and idiotic comments!

Is it not clear by now that US is now engaged in promoting 'inhuman rights' around the world - the policy makers having gone crazy and blind in their actions after the 9-11 incident? Maybe he could face the fate of Saddam Hussein!

Have you considered that he'd be on easy street right now (relatively speaking) if he hadn't thrown his lot in with the Islamofascists? We all have choices to make. He made his. Stop apologizing for his poor judgement.

Hey, what can I tell you; the boy was picked up with some extremely bad company and has demonstrated convincingly that he's in need of a VERY long holiday.
