Ok, I got in this HUGE fight with my best friend. I'm talking before school started friends. Well, I can't quit remember what we were fighting about but she punched me. So I punched her back and she cried. I called her to apologize for being a ***** but she keeps hanging up on me. I tried talking at school but she ignored me like I was air. She won't listen at all, what should I do? This friendship was huge, I don't want it to end.

If it was just as important to her, then she'd listen. I was going to say write a note, but would she rip it up? Try everything. If it was me and my best friend, if nothing I did to her worked... then I'd talk to her mom. Me and my best friend were friends since we were babies, so I'd be comfortable with that. Actually I got in a fight with my old best friend and another friend was involved. I forget why they werent happy with me, but one day I was so upset that I didnt go to school. I remember sitting there watching TV and had an urge to call up my old best friend's mom. We were close, even me and her mom were. She was like a second mom to me. So I called her up, we talked and she knew how upset I was and she was telling me what was going on with my friend, and that just kinda made me feel better. Me and my friends became friends again... it just took alittle time. Try everything you can. If absolutely nothing works, then just back off alittle. Let her cool off and see if she comes to her senses and comes back to you after all she was the one who started it.

first a friendship takes two people. If she is not ready to forgive, e-mail he an apology and she can either accept or reject it. I don't want you to feel like you cna chage the way she feels. Because you can't. Plus she hit you first. But that was not an excuse to hit her back. forgive her and forgie yourself and let fate work out the rest. i lost my best friend to something that i didn't even do. Someone started a rumor and blamed me. But when a person has their mind set, there is nothing you can do. It hurt at first but i had to let go. I apoogized and i wasn't even wrong. but oh well.
xoxo- it'll be okay.

Write her a letter. After that, there's not much you can do. Once you've apologized you've done your part. It's up to her after that. You can't remember what the fight was about but it sounds like she does. Perhaps she's embarrassed. I hope she values friendship as much as you do. She's lucky to have a friend in you and it's her loss as well as yours if she can't accept some responsibility too. Good luck.

You can't talk or apologize to someone who isn't ready to listen. This is where you learn your skills of patience and reading people to know when they are ready for an apology. If she valued the friendship too then she'll come around...

Give it time...then write a letter....

Time doesn't heal all wounds but time sure makes it easier...

Just give it some time and after a while, all you can do is clean your side of the street by apologizing and how she reacts is not up to you.

Keep on trying, if she was such a great friend she will come around. If not, do you really want a friend who will not forgive you? Lay off on the punching!

you tried what you could and if she wants to be ignorant and ignore you, then the friendship wasn't important to her and you need to find a better friend
